BANK has been our contribution for the project NIZZA TRANSFER (curator: Florian Waldvogel), which took place on the area of a roller skating club in Frankfurt/Main in the summer 2004.

The three issues of BANK are dealing with the reasons and consequences of an urban renovation that is more and more driven by economic interests, considering various (local) examples. These examples are: The effects of the post-olympic use of former Olympic villages on urban planning; the changes of the Main riverbank that result from the transformation of abandoned industrial sites along the river into exclusive living- and business areas; and the history of appropriation of inner-city-non spaces f.e. the Hauptwache in Frankfurt by skate boarders. Additionally BANK documents the lectures that where held in the scope of NIZZA TRANSFER.

BANK #1: «Olympic Villages»
BANK #2: «Investing by the River»
BANK #3: «Skatespot Frankfurt»

BANK was available for free on the site of NIZZA TRANSFER, in skate shops and art institutions in Frankfurt.
